What Are The Thompson's Intersport Terms Of Trading?
a) All prices are inclusive of V.A.T.,where applicable, at the
rate ruling at the date of despatch.
b) Carriage is paid on all orders, except those
requiring Off-Shore where a quoted rate can be given. if requested,before
dispatch.
c) For any destination, we reserve the right to
charge carriage on exceptionally heavy or bulky items, e.g Goalposts. This will
be advised if deemed necessary at time of order.
d) All claims for missing or damaged goods must
be made within 7 days of receipt and in the case of non-delivery within 10 days
of notification of being charged. To assist in maintaining our customer
goodwill we request that any queries concerning items that are damaged or
missing should be brought to our attention as soon as is practicable.
e) Goods are warranted for twelve months
against defect in material and workmanship subject to the causes given on the
Delivery Note accompanying the goods.
Statutory Rights
Thompson's Intersport terms and conditions do not in any way
affect your statutory rights as a consumer
Title to the goods delivered remains the property of Thompson's
Intersport until payment in full is received, according to the terms given on
the Delivery Note accompanying the goods. Please Note. Terms in respect of
payment, administration charges and carriage rates may be superseded by
contract or key account arrangements.
Are Your Items In Stock?
Stock changes daily, so there can be no guarantee that items in
stock one day will be still available the following week. However we can advise
on an estimated delivery at the time you wish to place your order either by
contacting our Sales Office - Monday to Saturday between 10.00 am and 5.15 pm -
or by leaving a message by e-mail outside of these hours (to
sales@interkit.co.uk ), which will be dealt with promptly on our return to the
office.
A general guide to delivery schedules is as follows, assuming
the goods are in stock :-
Schoolwear - 7/10 working days from receipt of payment.
Team Kit with no customisation - 10 working days from receipt of
payment.
Team Kit with customisation - 10/15 working days from receipt of
payment and confirmation of customisation details.
Football Equipment / Accessories - 7/10 working days from
receipt of payment
How Will Your Order be Despatched?
Direct to the address supplied either by our own vehicle, Royal
Mail or a reputable national carrier. Our warehouse holds many items in stock,
although some goods are sent directly to you, by our suppliers. So don't worry
if your order comes incomplete, the balance of goods will follow shortly.
Your consignment must be checked upon arrival for:
a) Correct number of parcels
b) Signs of parcel abuse
c) Correct content of parcels
Please note if the outside of a package or parcel looks damaged,
sign but state damaged on the carriers receipt as an added safeguard.
We regret we cannot entertain claims for missing or damaged
goods which have not been notified in writing within 3 days of the date of
delivery,irrespective of whoever has signed for the goods, at the consignment
delivery point. This is necessary due to the very short period of time we have
to claim against carriers for damage in transit, therefore your co-operation is
vital in your own interest.
Please remember that carriers, deliver weekdays between 9.00am
and 4.00pm.If premises are likely to be unmanned, you should include
instructions to guarantee an authorised signature will be available upon
delivery. Abortive deliveries may be subject to a charge being made if such
instructions arenot included with your order.
Can You Collect Your Goods?
We welcome callers at our shop at 53 Elm Row, Edinburgh between
9.30am and 5.15pm each day (excluding Sundays).
You Received Damaged, Incorrect Or Unwanted Goods. What Do
You Do?
You must advise our Sales Office in writing within 7 days of receipt of such
goods. Details of our Delivery Note numbers are essential. In return we will
send a written acknowledgement of your advice, together with a suggested method
of return should this be required. The acknowledgement should be retained by
you for reference purposes until the matter is resolved.
Please Note:
a) Failure to comply with this procedure will
put your claim at risk.
b) Late notification of damaged or incorrect
goods will invalidate your claim.
c) Thompson's Intersport bear no responsibility
for return of goods outside the given procedure.
Please note the return of over ordered goods,incorrectly ordered
goods, or goods no longer required will only be sanctioned if the Sales Office
is forewarned of this action.
Will You Be Supplied With An Alternative Product?
Our policy is to supply the exact item you have ordered and
short term delays will be endured in order that this policy is met. Longer term
delays or discontinued lines usually result in an alternative of equal or
better quality being submitted for your approval. You will be advised if this
occurs, and under no obligation to accept the alternative offered.
Customisation of Team Kit
It is the responsibility of the customer to supply Thompson's
Intersport with the correct details as regards print or embroidery to be
applied to the garments ordered.As such, customers should take the utmost care
when supplying these details via e-mail.Once this information is received and
the garments are customised accordingly, the customer is liable for payment of
said goods.
